titebond cold press on wood laminate

Are you supposed to apply Titebond cold press to both surfaces? I'm doing wood laminate repair and I'm avoiding that squeeze out at the seams. Any insights or tips?

Yeah both surfaces for a stronger bond. If you wanna avoid squeeze outs, use just enough glue... thin, even coats, and clamp gently but firmly. Wipe any excess fast before it dries

For laminate repair, you usually just apply it to one surface from what I know. A thin, even coat and a good press should do the trick.

There’s no instruction that came with it? I'm trying to laminate a 2.5-foot square tabletop with unbacked wood veneer that didn't come with directions. I'm wondering if cold press Titebond is a PVA glue, because I saw a video that said urea glues are much better for laminating than PVA glues.

Yeah, just spread it on both. I'd recommend using a roller to ensure that the application is consistent.
