Congrats on the new workshop! Since I'm from Chicago I can't help locally but if you check with nearby lumberyards or woodworking shops they might have offcuts or extras for turning projects. Hopefully someone here closeby can lend a hand.

Congrats on your new shop! I'm not in Salt Lake, but if I were, I'd bring you some wood. You should check out KSL Classifieds, people often give away wood for free there. Also, give MacBeath Hardwood or Woodcraft in Sandy a look, they have awesome stuff for turning. Good luck,there's nothing like filling up a new shop with upcoming projects
Niceeee. Always makes me smile seeing people have their workshops. I had a very long time just working in random places in my yard so it was quite difficult. You got your space. Make damn well use of it.
