old table saw issues

i have a table saw that I got from a neighbor. it's good for small stuff but the more i use it, it becomes more difficult to use?
for one, the blade height keeps chaging while im using it.. is this common to old saws? it's pissing me off!

any tips in making sure that it wont keep moving? im losing patience! help!

You should check if the locking mechanism is either worn out or not tightened properly. If so, you are going to need to replace a few parts so you don't have that problem in the future.
