I inherited a really old Craftsman table saw. I have always liked it since I was young, the age is probably almost half a century. The craftsman table saw fence is really bad, it won't stay straight, really a pain to adjust, basically, it's a nightmare.
Look, I'm not a pro, just a weekend woodworker, so I don't need anything fancy, just want something that works without driving me nuts every time I'm trying to use it. Maybe someone will say "just change the fence!", haha I don't have a $200 budget for fences okay lol. I looked around and found this old gear-driven fence on eBay, and wonder if it's a good idea to buy a second hand craftsman table saw fence. Hit me with your thoughts!
