what was your first project?

I've been into woodcrafting for a while now, starting from making a simple bench, and now I'm trying to make a storage with more detail.
I wonder how everyone here got into woodworking, and what was the first thing you made?

I remember when I was in high school, I made a cutting board for my mom. it was made of maple wood, and she loves it, still using it 10 years later
