Its halloween and I'm curious to know what everyone is up to. My neighborhood goes absolutely crazy with decorations and we get hundreds of trick or treaters every year. I usually carve a couple pumpkins and call it done, but my wife went all out this year with spider webs and those inflatable things on the lawn. She's got me setting up a fog machine tonight for the kids which feels like overkill but whatever makes her happy, right?
My 8 year old is going as a ninja for like the third year in a row because apparently that's the only costume he'll wear and well, at least it still fits from last year so we saved some money there. Planning to walk the neighborhood with him for an hour or so, then come home and raid his candy stash when he's not looking. The dad tax is real
Anyone else doing anything fun?
Also if anyone made any cool halloween decorations in their shop I'd love to see pictures.
Anyway, just thought it'd be nice to chat about something other than finishes and joinery for a change. Enjoy the weekend everybody, and remember to check your smoke detector batteries when you change the clocks back sunday morning!
