Re: Waterproof wood glue. 'Keep seeing the comments about Cascamite etc, new and old. We switched to Semforite a few years ago. No problems since. Consistent open time, never any solid bits, and quite a lot cheaper.
 
Good to know! I've mostly used Cascamite for outdoor joints on garden benches, but it can be hit or miss with shelf life. Haven't tried Semforite yet, does it hold up well in damp weather over time?
 
Never heard of any complaints with Semforite with outdoor furniture/sheds etc. As for shelf life, I think the golden rule is to keep the powder in a dry place, and off the garage floor etc.
