Thoughts on taking woodcraft courses

I've been diving deeper into woodcraft lately, and I'm considering taking a woodcraft course to really sharpen my skills. I've done some basic woodworking projects around the house, but I feel like I'm ready to take things to the next level. Are there woodcraft courses that anyone can recommend?, I'm especially interested in courses that cover things like advanced joinery, furniture making, or hand tool techniques. I've found a few options online and in local shops, but I'm unsure which one would provide the best value for what I'm looking for.

I saw someone ask the same thing. I just said a general answer, but ok I hope he/she cross-check with this post. Where is your specific location, if I may ask? So I can give you a more tailored response. But then, my best suggestion is the woodworking course at Yestermorrow Build School. Some of my colleagues got certified there. Pretty chill.

If you're into hands on stuff like joinery and hand tools, go for classes that give you shop time with a good instructor. Local guilds or community colleges sometimes have hidden gems too

Yeah. Honestly @Jeff Woodard you don't have to spend much on courses. If you want easy to follow free courses there are always almost anything under the sun on Coursera. If you want certification or something, maybe check your State if you got some woodcraft projects for free or for cheap. Local guilds offer it for much less. No need to find popular ones, they're all the same.

If you're really looking to take your skills to the next level, check out courses that concentrate on advanced joinery and furniture making. The American Woodworking Academy and Ebanista School both offer excellent programs that dive into hands-on joinery and hand tool techniques. If you prefer learning at your own pace, online options like the bundle from Fine Woodworking are fantastic. Just choose whether you want to go the in-person route or stick with online learning, and focus on which skills you want to improve the most.
