My mom got this gorgeous vanity table from a garage sale and wanted me to refurbish it. I was planning to strip the varnish and finish with wax. I've used the varnish stripper, scraped and scrubbed it, but idk why it's really slow to be removed. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

Nah, but just a belt sander would come in handy. Try the makita 9403.
