delta 22 560 is it worth buying?

I found a delta 22 560 thickness planer for $200 and it looks solid. seller says it's barely been used cuts smooth sharp knives. new belt motor runs fine but i've also heard this model has its issues. is it a hidden gem or am i buying myself a headache?

I have never had one of these models, but I've seen a lot of good reviews about it. I'd say buy it! @arcadeguru

if it's in good shape then its a good deal, the Delta 22 560 can be great, but watch for sticky feed rollers or motor issues. If it's barely used, it could be a gem, just inspect it thoroughly before buying.

200 is a good deal already especially if it's barely used but make sure that's true. I think the Delta 22-560 is problematic on the rollers and limited parts so get that.

Hope it's not hard to get parts if something in it gets broken. i'm not sure about this. but I have heard good reviews ofthe 22 560. show us a picture here once you've got it!

That's a good point, finding parts can be tough sometimes. I've heard great things about the 22-560 too. What projects do you have in mind for it?

Just keep in mind the 22-560 can be loud and sometimes struggles with snipe. Check the feed rollers and knife alignment before buying it

Nope, I wouldn;t recommend it. It was falling apart and I had trouble with it from day one. I'm using Delta now.
