Bandsaw SBW-4300

I have a vertical bandsaw labelled as being SWB-4300.

The blade guide assembly, top and bottom, consists of disc guides to the sides and a roller bearing to the rear.

The revolving discs to the side of the blade are supposed to run inside bronze bushes.

These assemblies are held in position by a hexagonal bar/shaft.

Does anybody know who might supply replacement assemblies that have bearings to the sides of the bandsaw blade rather than the disks which currently do not revolve as they should do?

I think you can just replace the bronze bushings in your current setup so the discs rotate properly, I think its cheaper than new assemblies if the discs aren't worn out

I'm currently making an enquiry with the manufacturers in Taiwan to see if an upgrade is possible at a reasonable cost. If not, I might go down the route you suggest and see if replacement bronze bushes are available.

Okay makes sense and if bushings are the route, any machine shop can make custom bronze bushings if OEM ones aren't available, you just have to bring the old ones or the hex shaft for them to size
