Kiln drying tme for Cherry blanks

I'm looking to kiln dry some cherry blanks that measure around 14" x 12" x 6". Does anyone have an idea of how long it typically takes to dry pieces this size? I'd also appreciate any tips on what to expect or ways to speed up the process.

Hmmm trying to kiln dry cherry that thick without checking or cracking is a gamble. Pieces that size can take weeks, even in a controlled kiln, rushing it just ruins the wood. Everyone wants shortcuts, but slow, steady drying with proper airflow is still the only real way

I would let them sit on a couple stickers and flip them over once a week. It could take months but the results should be good.

@Bradley You're right about the risk since cherry can turn on you real quick if you push it too hard. Better to wait it out than end up with a bunch of cracked blanks.

@Redmt I've done that same method before and it worked well. OP might wanna take notes.
